Katie

Hygienist

Katie was born and raised in Union, NJ, and she is now raising her own family there. She is married and has two adorable children, Maya and Anthony.

Katie started working for her family dentist in high school. After high school, she attended UMDNJ for dental assisting and dental hygiene. Katie has over 10 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She is a major Disney fanatic and loves to talk about all things Disney with her patients. Her latest interest is in meal prepping and healthy living. She also enjoys exercising and hopes to do another mud run in the near future.

Shana

Assistant

Shana is a long-time member of the Roman Dental Arts team. She worked with Dr. Roman for 10 years prior to starting a family. She grew up in Massachusetts, moved to NJ when she was 18, and now resides in Hawthorne with her husband Vic and two children, Jason and Madison. After working from home for 15 years, she is now back! Shana did remain in touch and, of course, was still a patient at our office. Shana attended Bergen Community College and attained her x-ray license in order to keep herself educated in this field and to help increase the efficiency of the office. She loves working with our patients and knows each day will bring something new for her to experience. Shana hopes that with her smile and reassurance, she can help our patients have the best possible dental visit ever.

Kirsten

Assistant

Kirsten was born, raised, and currently resides in North Haledon, NJ. She attended Montclair State University out of high school before obtaining her real estate license. Soon after, she decided to pursue a job in the dental field and received her dental x-ray license. We are so happy that she has joined the Roman Dental Arts team! Kirsten loves going to the beach and shopping at Home Goods.

Abi

Assistant

Abi was born in Passaic and went to Fortis Institute for Dental Assisting. She is friendly and caring. Abi loves spending time with family and friends as well as going to concerts and festivals on weekends. Her future goal is to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

Sandra

Patient Specialist

Sandra comes to our office with a vast background in dentistry. She has done it all as a dental assistant for years, a dental benefits evaluator, and a patient specialist. Her beautiful smile and attitude are in perfect sync with our office beliefs and team style. Sandra is now part of our front dental staff and is ready to assist you with your appointments, benefits and explaining your options for your care. Being a local resident of Bergen County, having a wonderful family and being an exceptional Mom are just some of her talents.

Claudia

Patient Specialist

Claudia is excited to learn all aspects of working in our dental office.. She is committed to staying healthy and fit. She enjoys spending time with her children.

Claudia enjoys CrossFit, hiking and spartan races.
